Charles Guiteau Autograph, c.1881. Charles Guiteau was the assassin of President James Garfield, on September 19, 1881. While in prison, Guiteau raised money to pay for his legal defense by selling his autograph for $5.00 each on small white cards. This is authentic, in excellent condition. 2" x 3" card. |
