  C. Gordon Harris, 1891-1963, Providence, RI
Studied at the Rhode Island School of Design. He was a member of both the Providence Art Club and the Providence Watercolor Club and South County Art Association. Specializing in landscapes and coastal scenes. Studied with Stacey Tolman, George Hays, and H. Cyrus Farnum. Worked primarily in Rhode Island, but also throughout New England, Canada, and Bermuda. Joseph Lane, b.1900 
Joseph Lane was a muralist and still-life painter working in Chicago from about the 1930's. He is best known for his large, colorful floral still-life paintings. This oil on canvas is 24" x 30".

Studied at the Art Institute of Chicago with G. L. Noyes. Also studied with Breckenridge, Mulhaupt, and F. M. Grant. Listed in Fieldings, Mallett, Who's Who. This painting is a watercolor, 8"x10" sight size. 14" x 16" frame size. SOLD
 
Sidney Richmond Burleigh, 1853-1931, Providence, RI
Born in Little Compton, Rhode Island. Studying in Paris. Pupil of Laurens and C. Y. Turner. One of the founders of the Providence Art Club, and founder and first president of the Providence Watercolor Club. His studio was in the Fleur de Lis building in Providence, which he designed and built in 1885. Taught at the Rhode Island School of Design from 1897-1906. He exhibited during the late 1900's and early 20th century at the Boston Art Club as well as the National Academy of Design, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and the Newport Art Museum. 
He is best known for his watercolors, but he also painted in oil. Listed in Fieldings, Mallett, Who's Who. 
This watercolor is titled "Chateau Gaillard". Signed S.R.B. and dated "July 1 - 10". Sight size is 9" x 121/4"
